Dear Residents
We currently have four Trustees who have all been co-opted in to their positions rather than having being voted in by yourselves. This is, to our knowledge, unprecedented in the history of Roman Park Management Limited. It has been pointed out to us that the current situation is at odds with the letter of the Declaration of Trust.
Our view is that the resignations of the previous Chair and Secretary at a time when significant changes were coming with respect to the leasing of the Club justify the use of four co-opted volunteers, particularly since we believe them all to be both committed and professionally qualified to take on the role. We will all stand for re-election at the AGM in September and you will have the chance to support or remove us then.
That said you may of course gather the requisite 30 signatures to call a Special General Meeting to bring forward a vote. We would then set the date SGM and present our credentials to you in person.
