The Roman Crown

Since 1st July 2024 Robin and Lynn have taken over the running of what was once the members only Residents Club. They have already made some improvements to the decor and many other changes are planned once they have relinquished responsibility for their previous pub on the 23rd August. There is already a good food menu but this will be enhanced considerably after August when Robin and Lynn bring in new cooking equipment including the eagerly awaited pizza oven.

The current opening hours are:

  • Monday closed
  • Tues – Sun 10am till close
  • Food served from 10am to 2pm in the week & again from 5pm to 8pm
  • Saturdays 10am to 8pm
  • Sunday 10am to 4pm
The full menu & launch party will be after  the Rose & Crown has closed on 23rd August. They  are already looking at dates to have some live music and  a buffet but the date is yet to be confirmed. Watch this space. Details of how to obtain you drinks discount will be put here and after the new tills that can support this have been installed and bedded in.

 We are able to offer discounts on our fees for anyone wishing to use a full estate agency service, the standard fee for sole agency is 1% + VAT of the sale price, this will be discounted for residents to 0.75% + VAT, for multi-agency the standard fee is 2% + VAT of the sale price, this will be discounted for residents to 1.5% + VAT.

For rental, we currently charge 10% + VAT for our silver service (see leaflet attached), this will be discounted for residents to 8% + VAT, for our gold service we charge 12% + VAT, this will be discounted for residents to 10% +VAT.

We have also engaged a financial advisor to join us in our office, Michael Petchey from Bricks and Mortgages:

Bricks and Mortgages offer clients a rounded range of services from residential mortgages, first steps through to later life lending and everything in between, investment mortgages including portfolio landlords and limited companies, to protection to ensure that the ‘what if’ scenarios are covered.
